Welfare and Institutions Code 4629 states that the State of California shall enter into contracts with the regional centers that shall include annual performance objectives that are specific, measurable, and designed to do all of the following:
Assist consumers to achieve life quality outcomes;
Achieve meaningful progress above the current baselines;
Develop services and supports identified as necessary to meet identified needs, including culturally and linguistically appropriate services and support; and
Measure progress in reducing disparities and improving equity in purchase of service expenditures.
There are two community meetings scheduled on August 23rd at 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. to discuss the proposed SG/PRC Performance Contract for 2018, as well as the sG/PRC Equity Proposals for Fiscal Year 17—18.

The final version of the contract will be presented to the SG/PRC Board of Directors on September 27, 2017. It will be posted to the SG/PRC website following approval from the Department of Developmental Services (DDS).
